Bring a little color to your bookshelf with this handmade bird of paradise stained glass bookend.
Inspired by the bold shapes and colors of tropical foliage, this one-of-a-kind piece features two bird of paradise blooms in shades of orange, red, yellow, and cobalt blue, surrounded by rich green leaves.
Each piece of glass was individually cut, assembled, and soldered by hand, then paired with a natural wood bookend. The combination of colorful glass and warm wood makes it as much a piece of art as a practical addition to your bookshelf.
It's a beautiful accent for a home library, office, or reading nook, especially if you love botanical designs, mid-century modern style, or something a little unexpected.
Dimensions:
- Wooden bookend: approximately 6" x 6.25"
- Stained glass panel: approximately 5.25" x 7"
- Includes one bookend, not a pair
Details:
- Handmade stained glass bird of paradise design
- Orange, red, yellow, blue, and green glass
- Dark solder lines that define the botanical shapes
- Natural wood bookend with visible wood grain
- One-of-a-kind finished piece
A note about handmade glass:
Each piece has its own natural variations in color and texture. That's part of what makes stained glass beautiful. The colors will look different depending on the light around it.
Care: Gently dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid Windex, ammonia, and household window cleaners.
